Honoring Our Hometown Heroes: Introducing the CCSD Hall of Heroes

Dr. Marc P. Baiocco, the Superintendent of Schools, has shared that he Clarkstown Central School District will be implementing the CCSD Hall of Heroes to honor the heroes of the Armed Forces who have walked the halls of the Clarkstown School District. These memorials will be at the North and South high school.

If you are an alumnus who has served, or would like to nominate a family or loved one who has served, please email editor@rocklandcountytimes.com and we will forward the link to apply please have the following ready:

• The honoree’s name and high school attended (North or South).
• Their year of graduation.
• Details of their military service (Branch, Years of Service, Highest Rank Achieved).
• A high-resolution photograph (military uniform preferred).

Baiocco emphasized that these submissions are open to any branch of the military, and the memorial welcomes submissions of both living service members and those who have passed.

The first phase of the memorial is set to be unveiled later this school year.
