Mike Lawler and Cait Conley Meet with Cancer Survivors

Rockland cancer survivors with the American Cancer Society Action Network (ACS CAN) sat down with both Cait Conley and Mike Lawler ahead of the November election to share their stories and ask questions of the two candidates. John Manna, the  National Board Chair for the ACS CAN, emphasized the nonpartisan mission of the ACS CAN, sharing that the group strives to “…share information with candidates of Congress so they understand what’s important to the cancer community, and we understand how they intend to help the cancer community.”

Both candidates signed the 2026 “Cancer Promise,” pledging to support cancer research, affordable health care, and prevention and early detection.
