“No Dice” for This Illegal Gambling Scheme

A month long investigation into an alleged illegal gambling operation has resulted in two Ramapo men being arrested and charged with promoting gambling, possession of gambling records, and possession of a gambling device.

The arrests of 46 year old Hillcrest resident Cesar Hernandez-Amparo and 50 year old Spring Valley resident Jose Chavez-Torres came following the execution of multiple warrants at 44 N Main Street and 26 N Main Street in the Village of Spring Valley on August 12th. Both individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
