North Rockland School District to Hold Open Houses

Schools in the North Rockland Central School District will be holding Open Houses at each of its nine buildings on Tuesday, September 1st, reports Dr. Kris Felicello, Superintendent of Schools.

In preparation for the first day of school on Tuesday, September 8th, the following schools will be holding Open Houses on Tuesday, September 1st: North Rockland High School and the North Rockland High School Extension, Fieldstone Middle School, James A. Farley Elementary, Haverstraw Elementary and Willow Grove Elementary and Stony Point Elementary, Thiells Elementary and West Haverstraw Elementary and the Neary Educational Center from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Students, parents, staff, administrators, Board of Education members and PTA  representatives are invited to attend the Open Houses. The buildings will be open on September 1st to give students and their families the opportunity to walk through the schools and familiarize the students with their classrooms and surroundings. Building  principals and teachers will be at each of the schools to greet new students and welcome  back returning students and their families.
