CHARGED WITH PUBLIC MASTURBATION

On October 13 the Ramapo Police Department arrested Paul P. Matassa, 82 years old, of Suffern, NY, on a charge of Public lewdness. The incident which Matassa was arrested for occurred on September 20, 2011, at the Sport-O-Rama Hockey Rink, in a men’s bathroom. Matassa was observed, by another customer, of Sport-O-Rama, masturbating in the area of the sinks in the bathroom. An investigation was conducted by department detectives who were able to identify Matassa. He was charged with Public Lewdness, a class A Misdemeanor. Matassa was released on $150.00 police bail.
