 DA REPORT:

Jacques Menos, age 54, residing at 83 Camp Hill Road, Pomona, NY, was indicted on February 17, 2012 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crime of Rape in the 2nd Degree. District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about January 22, 2010, the defendant who was known to the 14 year old victim, picked her up from school and took her to a motel in Clarkstown where he had sexual intercourse with her. The victim recently disclosed the abuse to her mother, who contacted the police. The victim worked at a tutoring program for children run by the wife of the defendant.
Anton Naumkin, age 26, residing at 545 Kensico Court, Suffern, was indicted on February 17, 2012 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Robbery in the 2nd Degree and Burglary in the 3rd Degree. District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about January 28, 2012 at approximately 12 p.m. the defendant entered 49 Bluefield Drive, Spring Valley without permission. While inside the location, the defendant stole copper pipping. When exiting, the defendant was confronted by the victim and the defendant struggled with the victim over the box of copper pipping and eventually punched the victim in the chest. The defendant fled the scene and was later caught.
Ereidis Pena, age 22, residing at 3 East Main Street, Stony Point, was indicted on February 17, 2012 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Aggravated Criminal Contempt and Assault in the 3rd Degree. District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about February 2, 2012 at approximately 7:45 a.m., the defendant struck the victim in her face with a closed fist. The victim required five stitches to close the wound to her mouth. These actions were in violation of a valid order of protection issued by the Town of Clarkstown Justice Court.
Augustine Rubio-Velasquez, age 23, residing at 120 Grove Street, Monsey, was sentenced on February 22, 2012, before New York State Supreme Court Justice William A. Kelly to a state prison term of 3 years and 3 years post release supervision after pleading guilty to Assault in the 2nd Degree. District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about April 19, 2011, the defendant acting in concert with three other individuals approached the victim in the area of 99 South Central Avenue in Spring Valley. All of the individuals began to attack the victim by throwing him to the ground, then punching and kicking him. During the assault, the defendant pulled a knife out of his pocket and swung it at the victim causing part of the victim’s ear to be severed. The Police were able to locate a piece of the severed ear. The victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center where doctors were able to reattach part of the victim’s severed ear.
STONY POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Eulalia Juca, age 34, residing at 137 Broadway, Haverstraw, was arrested for Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree. The defendant was arrested following an investigation into a shoplifting complaint at the ShopRite of Stony Point where she is accused of stealing assorted grocery items. The defendant was arrested, processed, and issued an appearance ticket returnable in Stony Point Justice Court on March 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.
Brandon Longueira, age 22, residing at 11 Mott Farm Road, Tomkins Cove, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and a vehicle and traffic infraction. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop and subsequent investigation, which found the defendant to be in possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested, processed, and issued a traffic ticket and an appearance ticket returnable March 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.
Burt T. Morton, age 24, residing at 244 North Main Street, Spring Valley, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree. The defendant was arrested as a result of a warrant investigation. The defendant was arrested, processed, and released on an appearance ticket returnable March 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.
Craig F. Russo, age 33, residing at 148 Dara Lane, Stony Point, was arrested after he turned himself in on an active Bench Warrant for a DWI. The defendant was arrested, processed, and arraigned before the Honorable William F. Franks. The defendant was released on an appearance ticket returnable March 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. after posting $500 bail.
David Williams, age 50, residing at 9 Elm Avenue, Tomkins Cove, NY, was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. The defendant was arrested following an investigation in which it is alleged the defendant did damage property at 340 North Liberty Drive in Tomkins Cove, NY in the Town of Stony Point. The defendant turned himself into the Stony Point Police Department. The defendant was arrested, processed, and arraigned before the Honorable William F. Franks and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility until his next court appearance on February 27, 2012 at 3 p.m.
