Rockland County residents finally have something to laugh about!!
With today’s economic challenges Rockland County residence have had little to laugh about…until now. An A-list comedy club “Levity Live” has opened on the fourth floor of the Palisades Mall and rave reviews keep pouring in.
I know this Rockland County resident/reporter on a budget enjoys seeing New York City talent in her neck of the woods without incurring the exorbitant cost of gas, tolls and parking a trip to New York City commands these days. I would rather get to the mall early and buy myself something nice with the savings.
With top performers such as Tracey Morgan from NBC’s “30 Rock,” Comedy Central’s Carlos Mencia and MTV’s Tom Green, whom I had the pleasure of seeing, you are assured to be laughing not only at the show, but for the rest of the week as you remember the jokes.
There was no shortage of fun to be had this past weekend at the Tom Green comedy show. For Rocklanders, the small investment was well worth the two hour escape from their daily stresses.
Manager Jason Kutash and Event Coordinator Rachael Malinowski were incredible hosts. “We are excited about the reception and attention Levity Live is receiving from the community,” Malinowski said.
The experience at Levity’s was skillfully planned with a bar lounge for patrons before or after the show which serves among other drinks, a fantastic Appletini! Levity’s has a friendly staff and it was no surprise that they were all happy and occasionally laughing while they served the theater crowd.
The theater is beautiful and spacious and featured full waiter service throughout the show from award winning cuisine from Chef Joey Campanaro, owner of New York’s acclaimed “The Little Owl” and “Market Table” restaurants.
Eat-Drink and Laugh is Levity’s motto, with full breakfast to late show menus you will never go hungry.
Aside from the benefits to the everyday patron such as birthday parties, Levity Live Events Coordinator Rachael Malinowski explains, “I am anxious to consult Rockland County’s business sector and non-profit organizations on events and fundraiser packages that are currently available, this is something new and exciting for Rockland County and the surrounding boroughs.”

The hilarious Wayans Bros. are in town this weekend. I hope you take the time to experience Levity Live, have a few laughs and enjoy this well needed enhancement to Rockland County’s entertainment scene. Eat-Drink and Laugh!
