Fast action to put up signs on Getty Rd.

When residents on Getty St. in Stony Point complained to Town Hall about a lack of “Child at Play” signs it didn’t take long for Stony Point Highway Superintendent Larry Brissing to take action. According to the report given at this week’s town board meeting, the popular highway chief had his men install signs on the road within an hour or two of receiving the call.

Drivers, take it easy on the side roads. Kids will be kids and play in the road, so drive slowly.
