Rabbitt to Announce Re-election Bid

Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt will announce Wednesday that she plans to run for re-election for the New York State Assembly in the newly drawn 98th Assembly District. Rabbitt has served in the Assembly since 2005, representing the current 97th District. Due to redistricting, she will now be covering new territory in Orange and Rockland counties.

Rabbitt will make her announcement at a Cocktail Reception Fundraiser to be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Character’s Restaurant, 94 Orange Turnpike, Sloatsburg, New York. Everyone from the public is invited to attend.

Rabbitt stated. “I would be honored to have the opportunity to continue my work in the Assembly for another term. There is still much work to be done and I look forward to meeting and working with new constituents in the 98th District.”

Tickets to the event are $50 per person.
