Rose Lewis Celebrates her 90th

Rose Lewis, 90 years young!

Rose Lewis, of the famous Natale family of North Rockland, celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, with a party at Marian Shrine.

Friends said Rose is a “vigorous and alert” lady. She likes to play cards at the senior citizens center and particularly enjoys crocheting afghans for her relatives. Rose has assisted with Haverstraw Brick Museum fundraisers and is a longtime piece of the North Rockland community fabric.

Rose is the widow of Jim Lewis, a former fire chief in Haverstraw and a long time carpenter. Jim passed away about 15 years ago, friends of Rose said.
