The Rockland County Times publisher emeritus Armand Miele recently was a featured new author at a special reception held at the Palisades Center Mall’s Barnes and Nobles.
Around 70 people in all showed up to hear from the authors, around 10 of them. After explaining what his book was to the audience and answering question about what inspired him to write it, Armand Miele signed copies of his book for eager readers.
Miele’s Book “Born Minus” tells his story of growing up as a shoeshine boy in the Depression-era Bronx to becoming a local newspaper publisher, political activist and successful developer in Rockland County. Miele tells the story of his fights with illnesses that he defeated, and his opinions regarding the direction of the country he loves, the United States of America.
