As part of the reconstruction of New Hempstead Road, overnight work has been scheduled at the intersection of New Hempstead and Little Tor Road. Up until now, there have not been any full road closures or rerouting of traffic through residential streets.
Crews will be working one night to mill/pave the intersection. Work will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 11 and last through the night. Crews expect to have the intersection open for regular traffic at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning (Friday). If there is any need for additional information, contact should be made with the County Highway Department at 845-638-5060.
