BORELLI NOT RUNNING; ZEBROWSKI MULLING IT OVER

Clarkstown Councilman Frank Borelli has told political contacts he is not running for county executive in 2013, leaving the Republican field open for the time being for front-running County Legislator Ed Day.

On the Democratic side, a major name who sources confirmed is considering a run is Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski.

Currently all three announced Democratic candidate are from the Town of Ramapo, leaving other Democratic candidates a possible opportunity as the Ramapo candidates are likely to divide their base of voters.
