New Years Day 2013 Arrests

On January 1, 2013 at approximately 3 a.m., Emmanuel Siegel, 31, of Long Island City, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Siegel was observed to be operating a 2001 Jeep without headlights, making an illegal U-turn, and driving over the center median on Rt 59 in Nanuet. He was subsequently stopped and was administered field sobriety tests which he failed. He was transported to the Clarkstown Police Headquarters where he submitted to a breathalyzer test in which he also failed. Siegel was issued an appearance ticket returnable on January 23, 2013 to answer driving while intoxicated charges and several vehicle and traffic law infractions. No photo available.

On January 1, 2013 at approximately 5:30 a..m., Jessica Peguero, 26, of Spring Valley, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Peguero was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Hub Shopping Center, 313 Rt 59 in West Nyack. Peguero was backing her 1998 Honda out of a parking space and struck another vehicle which was also backing out of a parking space. Peguero had the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. She was administered field sobriety tests in which she failed. She was transported to the Clarkstown Police Headquarters where she submitted to a breathalyzer test in which she also failed. Peguero was issued an appearance ticket returnable on January 14, 2013 to answer driving while intoxicated charges and unsafe backing.
