Former Nanuet Baseball standout Nick DiBenedetto signs with the South Hampton Breakers

The Hampton Collegiate Baseball League (HCBL) is an all wood bat league funded in part by Major League Baseball. Like the Cape Cod League of New England which is set up for players entering into their junior year, the HCBL is for college players entering into their sophomore year. Games are scheduled all over the NY Tri-State area and the season runs from May until August. There have been over 16 players drafted over the last two years out of the HCBL. Nick currently is playing for nationally ranked Monroe Community College of Rochester and is preparing for the 2013 spring season.
