A news conference will be held at noon at the Rockland Health Department campus in Pomona updating the public about the meningitis death that took place yesterday.
A sixth-grade student from St. Gregorgy Barbarigo School in Garnerville passed away on Easter after acquiring bacterial meningitis days earlier. Parents from the school received an Iris Alert yesterday warning them of the situation.
