New City, NY – Comedian Kevin Nealon of “Saturday Night Live” fame will be this week’s featured guest Friday morning on WRCR’s weekly morning drive radio show, “Talk Tourism.”
Tourism Coordinator CJ Miller, along with WRCR morning hosts Priscilla Ilarraza and Steve Posell, will interview the comedian ahead of his only local appearance this weekend at Levity Live at the Palisades Center in West Nyack. The radio show will air live at 8:15 a.m. this Friday, April 12, on WRCR AM 1300.
“We’re so excited to have such major talent coming to Rockland and we’re especially thrilled to have a star like Kevin Nealon appear with us on our radio show,” Miller said. “The Levity Live comedy club is a real boon to tourism in our County, and Friday’s show should generate a lot of buzz around Mr. Nealon’s appearance there.”
Nealon is best known for his nine-year stint on NBC’s Emmy-winning “SNL,” starring in the popular comedy sketches “The Subliminal Man,” “Hans and Franz” and “Weekend Update.” He’s also known for his role in the critically acclaimed Showtime series “Weeds.”
On the big screen, he’s starred in feature films including “Just Go With It” with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, “Jack and Jill” with Al Pacino and Katie Holmes,” The Wedding Singer,” “Happy Gilmore,” “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan,” and more. Nealon recently released his first book, “Yes, You’re Pregnant, But What About Me?” a comical look at the male perspective on pregnancy.
Nealon will also star in the upcoming major studio film release, “Walk of Shame” alongside Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden.
