The famous “Guys and Dolls,” subtitled “A Musical Fable of Broadway” opens tonight at Westchester Broadway Theatre. The show is set in the colorful world of prohibition era New York City and is generally considered one of the greatest musicals of all time. “Guys and Dolls” is populated with gangsters and gamblers, missionary dolls and beautiful showgirls, and has one of the greatest musical scores in the history of American theatre. Including Frank Loesser hits; “Luck Be A Lady,” “Guys and Dolls,” “If I Were A Bell,” and “Sit Down Your Rockin’ The Boat.”
The cast features Gary Lynch as Sky Masterson, Margaret Loesser Robinson as Sarah Brown, Michael Brian Dunn as Nathan Detroit, Allie Schauer as Adelaide, Jayson Elliott as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Sheldon Henry as Benny Southstreet, Laura Cable as General Cartwright, Tony Triano as Arvide Abernathy, Jeff Brooks as Big Jule, Roy Thomas as Harry The Horse , Jonathan Stahl as Rusty Charlie and Jody Cole Wood as Lt. Brannigan.
