The S.W. Johnson Ladies Auxiliary of Garnerville will be hosting a Dinner Theater entitled โThe Soapranoโs โ Tonyโs Retirement Dinnerโ on Saturday evening April 20.
The Dinner Theater is the produced by the New York Dinner Theater and will feature live comedy entertainment depicting a retirement dinner for Tony Soaprano. It is an audience interactive show. Chairlady of the event, Barbara Babcock explained that the auxiliary holds these type of fund raisers for numerous reasons such as funding their yearly scholarship and the purchase of emergency response equipment for their members to be used during man made or natural disasters. Further, it is also the goal of the Ladies Auxiliary to foster a sense of community and events like this give the members of the community a chance to have an enjoyable evening locally with good entertainment and good food at a good price.
Prior to the show will be a traditional Italian feast prepared by the members of the S.W. Johnson Fire Company consisting of Salad, Dinner Entrรฉe (Chicken Parm w/ Pasta or Spaghetti & Meatballs), dessert, coffee and tea. Beer and Wine is also available for an additional charge. The tickets are $40 per person. The ladies have held numerous dinner theaters in the past to sold out crowds and they are looking forward to packing the house once again. The firehouse is located at 37 Bridge St in Garnerville and the doors open at 6:30 p.m., Dinner at 7 p.m. curtain goes up at 8 p.m.
