Rare Opportunity to See the NORTHERN LIGHTS in New York Metro Area

More exciting news from the heavens — a major solar flare that set off Thursday will give metro New York and other areas a very good chance to observe the aurora borealis (Northern Lights) Saturday evening.

Few opportunities to see the lights arise in our area. Spread the word to your friends and family. We are not making any promises, however. The lights could potentially fail to materialize or be obscured by clouds.
