ANNUAL COUNTY EXECUTIVES FORUM PRESENTED BY THE PALISADES INSTITUTE OF DOMINICAN COLLEGE

The Palisades Institute of Dominican College will host the Annual County Executives Forum on May 22 from 7:45 to 10 a.m. in the Lawrence Room of Rosary Hall on the campus of Dominican College. Edward A. Diana, Orange County Executive, Kathleen M. Jimino, Rensselaer County Executive, Marcus Molinaro, Dutchess County Executive, and C. Scott Vanderhoef, Rockland County Executive are slated to participate in this yearly exchange of information with each other and constituents. Maintaining resilient and responsive communities is a core function of county government. As challenges emerge, whether in the form of natural disasters, the threat of terrorism, or as the result of the fiscal pressures of state and local economies, county executives must effectively respond with solutions that sustain both economic viability and quality of life. The Palisades Institute County Executives Forum offers an opportunity for dialogue and discussion, inviting the exchange of views and an opportunity for heightened understanding of issues – current and anticipated – impacting the region. Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. and will be followed by the forum at 8:15 a.m. The discussion will conclude promptly at 10 a.m. The cost of this event is $25.00 per person.
