Pot and Fireworks Bust in Stony Point

Donald K. Solomon, male, 54-years-old of 16 Hastings Ln. in Stony Point was charged last week with criminal possession of marihuana (E-Felony) and unlawfully dealing with fireworks.

On May 3, 2013 the Stony Point Police Department arrested Solomon after an investigation, led by the Rockland County Narcotics Task Force, secured a search warrant for the defendants’ residence.  A search of Solomon’s residence recovered 14 ounces of marihuana (a street value of approximately $5,000), a cache of illegal fireworks and approximately $5,000 in U.S. currency. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable June 4.
