Happy weekend my little nuggets! I have a secret (shhh!) and I NEED to confess! The most essential product in my makeup bag, the one thing I just cannot leave home without, I buy from my local drug store (CVS or Walgreens). There, I said it!! Her name -Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara in ‘Very Black’ at a whopping $6.94 USD. She comes in 4 magnificent colors (Very Black, Black, Black Brown & Brown). Ladies & gents, please note, there are various Covergirl mascaras that have similar packaging, just different colors. Look for the ORANGE tube. Since mascara is the one makeup item I must have on every single day, you can bet I’ve tried many! I’ve scoured the floor of Sephora, walked around department store makeup counters, and the absolute BEST mascara out there is this one. You get exceptional volume & length with Lashblast. I never experience clumps or those little black nubblets that flake off and land on your face. It sounds silly, but I’ve encountered multiple mascaras that do this!

A crucial tool to help build beautiful, luscious & lovely lashes is your eyelash curler. This is necessary if your lashes don’t have a natural curl or lift to them (aka mine!). Important rule – curl lashes BEFORE you apply mascara. Do not reverse this, as you’ll experience lash breakage – NOT good! My personal favorite is Shiseido’s eyelash curler $19 USD. It is so amazing, that you barely need to press on your lashes before they’re curled! Another great curler, that’s a bit less expensive, is Sephora’s eyelash curler $16 USD. I used this for a while and it did the trick!

Give these mascaras a whirl if you’re willing to spend some extra bucks. I’ve tried all 3 and they are also great options!
