VALEDICTORIAN ANNOUNCED AT TZHS

TZHS seniors David Rapoport, and Kaylie McGivney have been named Class of 2013 Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively. David is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the French Honor Society. He is an AP Scholar, an active member of the Academic League, a Rockland County High Scorer on the Math Team, and a member of SOAC. David will be attending Cornell University where he plans to be a computer science or engineering major. Kaylie has proven herself academically as well as athletically. She is an AP Scholar, a member of many honor societies, and captain of both the gymnastic and varsity track teams. She is an active member of Heroes and Cool Kids, the Leo Club, VAASA, and SADD. She enjoys using her leadership skills to help younger children. She donates much of her time to community service with a focus on Buddy Ball and Peer Tutoring, and also coaches at Galaxy Gymnastics. Kaylie will be attending Tulane University where she will be a biology major.
