Malone officially announces

Democrat Dennis Malone formally announced on the evening of Thursday, May 16 that he will be seeking the office of superintendent of the Highway Department this fall in the Town of Clarkstown. The fundraiser and campaign kickoff was held at the Nanuet Restaurant in Nanuet with Malone surrounded by several dozen of his friends, family and supporters.

The recently appointed fleet manager of the Highway Department,  Malone also has 10 years of experience as a transportation manager. Prior, he has owned a business in which he employed and supervised over 55 employees.

He states, “I know what it takes to manage people and get the best results out of my employees, while working under a tight budget. I will work tirelessly to protect your hard earned tax dollars and make sure only needed expenses are incurred and all employees are needed to work to provide the people of Clarkstown with superior services.”

The incumbent is Republican Wayne Ballard. He has held the positions for over 15 years.
