DWI Arrests in Clarkstown

On July 18, 2013 at approximately 11:15 a.m. Allen Scott, 29, from Nanuet was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated (both misdemeanors), aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 1st (felony), and numerous vehicle and traffic infractions.

Scott was operating a 2004 Mercedes on West Clarkstown Rd in New City when he was stopped for turning improperly and other observed moving violations. Scott appeared to be intoxicated and was issued field sobriety tests, which he failed. Scott was transported to Clarkstown Police Headquarters where a breathalyzer was administered and which he also failed. Scott was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court before Judge Gerber. He was remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 bail.

On July 19, 2013 at approximately 2 a.m. Martin Davis, 49, from Congers was arrested for driving while intoxicated and the traffic infraction of inadequate headlights. Davis was operating a 2005 Mercury on Ridge Road in Congers with only one headlight functional. Davis was stopped and appeared to be intoxicated. He was issued field sobriety tests, which he failed. Davis was transported to the Clarkstown Police Headquarters where a breathalyzer was administered and which he also failed.
