Meet Ms. Ebon’ee

Ms. Ebon’ee, who doubles as a production manager and actress in Shades Repertory Theatre shows in Haverstraw, is very busy, having been cast recently as “town’s person” in Damon Lindelof’s HBO series “The Leftovers,” as well as currently appearing in Samuel Harps’ web series “The Point,” and playing ‘Sam’ in Maria Elana-Ortiz’s “Ism’s In 10 Minutes,” showing August 16 and 17. The latter show will be put on at the official Shades Rep Theatre, situated within Haverstraw Presbyterian Church on Main Street.

Ms Ebon’ee will also be cast as ‘Freda’ in Samuel Harps’ “Goat Feed,” performing August 30 and 31, as ‘Sam’ in Mary Crescenzo’s “Planet A,” October 2013 at Shades, and again in “Freedom Summer” at a date to be announced in Washington, D.C. She is currently producing “Redeeming Matilda,” a Bassline Filmworks production, as well as “Higher Education,” a Forever Us production.

In other news, Shades Rep has teamed up with Antoine McGuire’s restaurant in Haverstraw, offering dinner and show at reasonable rates.
