THE CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA TO VISIT ROCKLAND COUNTY

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), the world’s premier not-for-profit culinary college, will hold a reception in Nyack at the Hudson House of Nyack, 134 Main St., on Thursday, August 29 at 6 p.m. Attendees will have their college application fee waived and may qualify for significant tuition grants. In addition, the college is offering $3.6 million in new scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year. The CIA offers associate degrees in culinary arts and baking and pastry arts; and bachelor’s degrees in culinary arts management, baking and pastry arts management, and culinary science.
