Malone Sues Sparaco, Reda, Axelrod and Ballard

New City Patch is reporting that Clarkstown Highway Dept. Fleet Manager Dennis Malone today filed suit for ‘defamation’ and ‘defamation by implication’ against fellow Highway Dept. employee  Legislator Frank Sparaco, Rockland County Republican Party Chairman Vincent Reda,  Clarkstown Republican Party Chairman Bob Axelrod and Clarkstown Highway Superintendent Wayne Ballard.

Malone is suing over tapes Sparaco made that revealed Malone and Councilman Frank Borelli negotiating with him over a possible expanded role in the Highway Department in return for political support. Reda, Axelod and Ballard then assisted Sparaco in making the tapes public.
