On September 12, 2013, the Historic Lafayette Theater in Suffern will be joining businesses across the country, who are participating in Freedom Day USA. Freedom Day is a national event designed to thank the members of the military, veterans and their immediate families for their service to America. Each business participant is providing a thank you gift in the form of free services, goods and various other offers.
The Historic Lafayette Theater, located in downtown Suffern, New York will say thanks to our Military by giving free admission to all members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and their immediate families who attend the Thursday, September 12 showing of the number one movie in America “The Butler” starting at 7:30 p.m.
“The Town of Ramapo joins the Benmosche Family in giving the members of the Military, past and present, a small token of appreciation for their dedication and sacrifice,” said Supervisor Christopher P. St. Lawrence.

This is a very nice thing that the theatre is doing. However, I seriously doubt that any veterans would want to see a movie with Jane Fonda in it. She can never be forgiven for what she did to American military people during the Vietnam War
