J. Finn Arrested for Destroying Campaign Signs

John Finn, 48, of New City, was arrested by Clarkstown PD for criminal mischief in the fourth degree (a misdemeanor) on September 24.

Mr. Finn was seen at 9:30 p.m. causing damage to a campaign sign belonging to Dennis Malone, which was located at the intersection of Walnut Ct. and Main St., New City. The damage was consistent with holes from pulling the sign from its mounting.

The witness approached Finn who fled the area in a vehicle. After an investigation by the Clarkstown Police Department, Finn was arrested and processed at Clarkstown Police Headquarters. He was released on an appearance ticket which is returnable in Clarkstown Justice Court on October 7, 2013.
