– “Kiss Me Kate” the 181st production at Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford is just great with the wonderful Cole Porter musical score, a fantastic leading lady, Christianne Tisdale and a really good leading man, William Michaels. – Singer songwriter Tom Chapin will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday , September 28 at the Campaign For Artful Resistance at St. Thomas Acquinas College which is a free family event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Save Our Schools is organizer of the event with a goal of returning art education to schools. – A sixth anniversary of Maloto (dreams) will be Saturday November 9 at the Nyack Center from 7 to 9 p.m. M. Brokaw, Maloto board member is special guest of honor and Motherland Rhythms and Dance will perform. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund at Mzuzu Academy and the Kwithu Women’s Group and Feeding Center, Maloto develops and invests in programs that feed-educate and empower children and women living in extreme poverty in northern Malawi.
