Malone’s Appeal Dismissed

Dennis Malone’s appeal of last week’s Supreme Court decision regarding the validity of Clarkstown Highways Superintendent opponent Wayne Ballard’s Working Families Party absentee ballots has been dismissed by the Court of Appeals.

The court said Malone did not follow proper procedure and lacked evidence for claims. The decision ensures Ballard will be on the Working Families Party line for the November election, as well as the Republican, Conservative and Independence. Malone will be on the Democratic Party line.
