Woman struck by car and killed in Nanuet

Krystyna Izbinska, 64, from Nanuet was struck and killed shortly before 6 p.m. on December 4, 2013 while she was walking on New Clarkstown Rd. near the intersection with Meadow Lane in Nanuet.  The vehicle, a 2000 Mercedes Benz, driven by Jayne Blechman, 55, from New City, was traveling south on New Clarkstown Rd. when the collision occurred.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.  No summonses have been issued as of this time.
