Police: Man secretly recorded ‘intimate encounter’

NEW CITY – A Westchester County man has been charged with unlawful surveillance for secretly recording  an “intimate encounter” with a female, according to Clarkstown police.
Screen Shot 2013-12-06 at 10.52.51 AMAndrew Maniglia, 56, is charged with one count of second-degree unlawful surveillance, felony. He was arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court in New City and was released on $1,000 bail pending a Jan. 29, 2014 hearing.
An investigation by the Clarkstown Police Department Detective Bureau led to the charges.  Maniglia is accused of surreptitiously recording an intimate encounter with a female acquaintance without her knowledge or consent in July 2013.
