Newly Formed Rockland Improv Troupe to Perform at Shades Repertory Theatre in January

Shades Rep Theatre in Havestraw is home to a brand new improv troupe. Brendan O’Brien, one of the cofounnders and a member, says the group named Plan B recently performed at Rockand Community College in Suffern to a sold out audience.

In the troupe are O’Brien, Christopher Murtagh, Johnny Nash, and Andrew Beadle. In an ad on Shades website, Plan B asks the question “what if you were to star in a Broadway show with Barbara Streisand and you forgot your lines? What would you do?”

O’Brien says their show will be partly scripted and partly improv. The shows are set for Shades in the Central Presbyterian Church on Main Street at 8 p.m., January 16, 17 and 18. For tickets and information 845-675-8044 or shadesrep.com/#planb.
