A little over one year since Sandy devastated the beachfront in Stony Point and the first refurbished home on River Road has been completed, just in time for Christmas. The home stands on stilts raised 14 feet above sea level, in line with new town codes and tall enough to avoid a catastrophe should an event similar to Sandy occur again.
