FIRST NIAGARA PRESS RELEASE

NYACK, NY, February 21, 2014 โ€“ First Niagara Bank, N.A. announced today that it is reestablishing its YouFirst Neighbor Loans program to aid homeowners impacted by the brutal 2013-2014 winter storm season experienced throughout the Northeast.

First Niagaraโ€™s โ€œYouFirst Neighborโ€ unsecured loan program for eligible consumers is a fixed rate, one to five-year loan, between $1,000 and $10,000 with a 4.99% APR. No application, closing costs or prepayment fees are necessary, but certain conditions and restrictions may apply. Applications may be submitted through March 31, 2014, and can be approved between 15-30 minutes. This special loan program is available to customers in the Eastern Pennsylvania, Eastern New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts areas who have been affected by the 2013-2014 winter storm season.

โ€œHomeowners need quick access to funds to address emergency repairs and costs caused by this winterโ€™s severe weather,โ€ said Cathie Schaffer, Regional President, First Niagara. โ€œYouFirst Neighbor loans are designed to hasten the application process for customers, in the wake of weather-related damage to their homes and other property, so weโ€™re pleased to be able to serve as a source of emergency funding in the communities we serve.โ€

First Niagara first launched YouFirst Neighbor Loans in 2012, to provide support to customers affected by Hurricane Sandy.
