Orangetown police investigating two-car crash in Sparkill

Four people were seriously injured in an aparent head-on crash this afteroon on Route 9W in Sparkill, where volunteer firefighters had to cut open the cars to rescue trapped occupanets.

Emergency officials said one man is being treated at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla and another man and two women are being treated at Nyack Hospital. The drivers of both vehicles in the crash were the most seriously injured.
