New York Army National Guard Soldiers Receive New Rank, New Responsibilities

Major General Patrick A. Murphy, The Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Justin Miller from Congers, N.Y. (postal code 10920) and serving with the 827th Engineer Company is promoted to the rank of private.

Ryan Conklin from Suffern, N.Y. (postal code 10901) and serving with the Company A, 1-69th Infantry is promoted to the rank of private first class.
