The Stony Point Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred on March 14, 2014 at  approx. 11 p.m. at the Knights Corner Senior complex off of Tomkins Ave. The victim alleged that the suspect forcibly entered his residence, subjected him to physical contact by punching him several times and subsequently removed a laptop computer from his home upon exiting. The victim did not suffer any injuries. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male approximately 5’8’’, 160 lbs, left the area by unknown means.

The Stony Point Police Department was assisted by the Haverstraw Town Police K-9 unit during the initial search for the suspect, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s BCI unit during the early stages of the investigation.
