Pomona, NY โ Spring is here! Are you ready to put this winter behind you? Itโs time to break out of the winter blues. Not only can the weather get you down, health problems can too. Donโt let an ongoing health condition get in the way of your fully enjoying spring activities.
The Rockland County Department of Health has several free programs that will help you gain the skills you need to better manage your health and improve your quality of life:
Better Choices Better Health: Managing Ongoing Health Conditions: Wouldnโt you like to feel more in control of your health? If yes, then join us at this free six-session workshop series. We will help you gain the skills you need to better manage your ongoing health conditions. Our next workshop series begins on Friday, April 25 in Pearl River.
Living Well with Diabetes: This free six-session workshop series will help you: understand diabetes and learn how to prevent complications; keep track of your blood sugar; eat healthy; be more physically active; learn relaxation techniques to cope with stress; and take charge of your health. Our next workshop series begins Thursday, April 24 in Suffern.
