Vlachos accused of illegal lewdness

On April 8th, 2014 Clarkstown Police arrested Christopher Vlachos, 54yoa, of New City and charged him with Public Lewdness (Class B Misdemeanor) and and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor). Vlachos is accused of masturbating and uttering obscene language while sitting in his car on April 6th, 2014 at approx. 3:00pm in the parking lot of Toys R Us in Nanuet.  This behavior drew the attention of a female patron of the the store who was in the company of her 2 year old daughter and reported the matter to the Police Department.  Subsequent investigation led to the identification and arrest of Mr. Vlachos.  Vlachos was arraigned at Clarkstown Justice Court and released on $1,000.00 bail with a return court date of 5/7/14.
