VISIT A LONELY NURSING HOME RESIDENT

Caring men and women are invited to visit someone in a nursing home setting at Northern Metropolitan in Monsey, Northern Manor in Nanuet, or Northern Riverview in Haverstraw. In addition to English, some residents would be overjoyed to converse in Spanish, Creole, or Russian. You are the right person if you have an upbeat and sympathetic personality. All it takes is a few hours a week to “spread sunshine all over the place.” Previous volunteer experience is not necessary.
