Eagle Scout Builds Gazebo for Homes For Heroes Veterans

Eagle Scout Candidate Zachary Reiter and three friends volunteered to build a gazebo on the grounds of Homes For Heroes in Tappan recently. The results were impressive and resident veterans will surely be enjoying the fruits of their labor for years to come.

The Home for Heroes apartments are located on the former Camp Shanks grounds, where over 1.3 million GIs left to fight in Europe during WWII.
