UNIV OF FINDLAY AWARDS MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS TO TWO ROCKLANDERS

The University of Findlay (Ohio) announced Merit Scholarship awards, which are based on a student’s final, cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) and ACT/SAT scores. Scholarships are awarded beginning with the freshman year and are renewable for up to four years (for a total of five years of scholarship aid). Merit scholarships for transfer students are based on the student’s GPA from all previous college-level institutions.

The following local students received awards for the 2014-2015 academic year:

Madison Arena of WEST NYACK (10994) received $30,000.

Kathleen Ploss of BLAUVELT (10913) received $14,000.
