Community Impact Grants Available to Rockland Non-Profit

The United Way of Rockland County (UWRC) is offering Rockland non-profits an opportunity to seek funds for programs that build the skills of an individual in one or more of the following areas: Education, Income and Health.

Priority will be given to programs that address the community issues that were identified through the 2014 United Way Community Needs Assessment Report. The grant funding cycle will start on July 2015 and go through June 2017.

Prior to submitting a grant, each applicant must attend one of the following Informational Grant Workshops: Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 4 p.m., Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library or Tuesday, June 17 at 10 a.m., Suffern Library.

To register for one of the workshops, and for additional information, call UWRC at 845-358-8929.
