A special fundraiser to benefit the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona, NY will be held on Sunday, May 18, from 1 – 5 p.m. at 591 South Mountain Road, New City, NY. The home is the former residence of the late Dr. Martha MacGuffie, the much beloved medical pioneer, philanthropist and animal lover.
Admission is $20 per person, which includes the wine and cheese tasting event. Other refreshments, including non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of deserts will be served. Well known international pop artist Lisa Grubb, of The Happy Dog Gallery in Piermont, NY, will have many of her unique paintings, posters and prints on display, along with her famous Happy Cat t-shirts and copies of her Happy Dog books (which she’ll autograph for you).
Everything is going to be for sale and Lisa will donate a portion of her proceeds to Hi-Tor. A limited edition print of Lisa’s artwork will be raffled during the event.
