STONY POINT CRIMES 5/17/14

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF HEROIN
Brian T. Moore, age 29, residing at 45 Wayne Ave., Stony Point, NY, was arrested on May 6, 2014 for criminal possession of a controlled substance and several vehicle and traffic violations. The defendant was arrested after a vehicle and traffic stop revealed he was in possession of three decks of heroin. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable in the Stony Point Justice Court on June 3, 2014 at 9 a.m.

PETIT LARCENY
Kiondra D. Castor, age 24, residing at 9C Warren Ave., Haverstraw, NY, was arrested on April 28, 2014 for five counts of petit larceny. The defendant was arrested after investigation revealed that the defendant did without authority or permission engage in five fictitious transactions while a cashier at Aldi’s of Stony Point, stealing a total of $127.83. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable May 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.

 
PETIT LARCENY & CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Szabad Kawailani, age 23, residing at 228 Ramapo Rd., Garnerville, NY, and Julianne Greenberg, age 25, also residing at 228 Ramapo Rd., Garnerville, NY, were arrested in May 8, 2014 for petit larceny ad criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. The defendants were arrested following an investigation into a shoplifting that occurred at Rite Aid in the Town of Stony Point. The defendants were arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable June 3, 2014 at 9 a.m.
