The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce will host the hamlet’s inaugural Street Fair on Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Over 150 vendors are expected to participate by taking a spot along Main Street from the entrance to Stop & Shop down to Prospect Street. The event will be the first of its kind in Nanuet and will be similar to the Street Fair held in New City.
“We are thrilled to be hosting an event of this kind! It will give the business owners in Nanuet and neighboring towns an opportunity to showcase their products and services to thousands of people from around the County as well as from neighboring Bergen County,” stated Risa Hoag, President of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce. In addition to local businesses, there will be food vendors and a wide variety of entertainment throughout the day as well as a separate section with rides and activities for kids.
Entertainment will include an opening flag ceremony by Nanuet Boy Scout Troop 33, live DJ all day, Party of Five an Accapella DooWop group, dance performances, Bit o’ Rhythm Marimba and Steel Drum Band and local Nanuet talent! There is no charge for admission to the street fair. Five Gold Sponsor opportunities were available and all are taken. Gold Sponsors include Morgan Stanley, Stop & Shop, Mercedes Benz, Condon & Associates and Fairway Market.
